  Ellie Gustin

“A Smattering of Rhyme" Books of Poetry by Ellie Gustin

Born in Toledo, Ohio, our now local author, Ellie Gustin, started writing poetry at the age of 14 and has been writing poems on and off for 70+ years.   Ellie said, “I write poems for friends and family to see how I have whiled away the hours.  Hope they give pleasure to those reading them.”

Mrs. Gustin has written a weekly column for the Glade Vista for 10 years.  This is the second printing for “A Smattering of Rhyme” and it is illustrated by her granddaughter, Danielle Gustin, a fine commercial artist.

Ellie is donating all proceeds from the sale of her book to Shepherd’s Little Flock Christian Day Care, located at 1461 Sparta Highway in Crossville.

Meet the Author:

  Maurice Lind & Snickers

“If you like dogs, you will love Snickers!”

writes author Maurice Lind of his beloved friend.

“Snickers spends part of his time living the good life.

The other part is spent dreaming about the year 10001, when dogs take over the universe.”

Come meet Snickers and his owner/author to learn how Snickers tells all in the memoirs of his life.  Readers from 18 to 80 and beyond will learn insider information about dogs: their language, how they count, how they dream, how they love, how they want to be loved, and more.  Maurice Lind is the voice of Snickers and is a retired professor of Mathematics and Computer Science.
